The Milanes Theater is the oldest theater in the City of Pinar del Rio. During colonial times it was called Lope de Vega Theater. As soon as Cuba became an independent nation, in 1898, the name was changed to the one it still has. This new name was in given in honor of Jose Jacinto Milanes, a Cuban poet from Matanzas. This theater has capacity for 900 spectators. It is on the corner of Real and Colón Streets.

The Aida Theater, now called Cine Praga, was inaugurated on April 9, 1939. This theater has capacity for a thousand spectators. It is located on the Velez Caviedes Street between Yagruma and Retiro.

The Riesgo Theater, now called Zaiden Theater, was named after its original owner, whose name was Joaquin Riesgo. This theater was inaugurated on December 24, 1947. It has capacity for 2,900 spectators. It is the largest theater in Pinar del Rio and one of the biggest in Cuba. It is located in Real Street between San Juan and Cuarteles.
